Objects to admire

Next to working on our functional designs, we once in a while like to experiment without any practical constraints. We let ourselves be totally inspired by the material itself, often salvaged wood or objects we have stumbled upon by chance. Interacting with the raw material we try to enhance its intrinsic beauty until we feel it has reached its full potential.

These artistic experiments have resulted in a slowly expanding collection of unique objects. Occasionally we organize an exhibition to show a selection of works to the public.

Raising awareness

As working with ecologically friendly and salvaged materials is one of our principles, we strive to raise awareness about the environment. One of the modest ways in which we are trying to contribute, is by holding children's workshops on “creative recycling” in our local community.

After collecting driftwood on a nearby beach, we encourage the children to study the shape and texture of the objects they have salvaged. And to use their imagination and skills to create something useful or just beautiful with them. A creative process very similar to our own professional one.
